We contacted a few more manufacturing facilities today and are still awaiting responses from our previous manufacturer, to have them ship our prototype back. In the mean time we are speaking with our hardware designers Xcube to have them produce a couple new prototypes. By the end of the week we are hoping to know about out new prototypes, so we will know when to expect to be able to send them out to the potential manufactures we have lined up to get quotes. Simultaneously we are having the connected StreetSmart app being laid out and will have updates as well as screenshots as it comes together. We will keep you updated as the week progresses, as well as more consistently as I have assured everyone.

As far as when we are expecting and hoping to deliver the SmartWallet. We first need a Manufacturer to give us a quote based on our leather patterns, the tech, as wells the incorporation of the tech into the wallet. We expect the initial communications and set up with our new manufacturer to take around a month, once acquired. Then we expect the manufacturing of the tech (which we have the board built and configured by Xcube, ready to be put into manufacturing) to take around a month. We are not sure if the Manufacturing of the leather aspect of the wallet will be done simultaneously. If not we expect this to take a months time as well to perfect. Then we are on to incorporating the device into the wallet which will hopefully only take a couple weeks once both the leather and the tech are manufactured. Then another two weeks to a month for packaging and shipping. Over all it is looking like we are about 3.5-4.5 months out. Stay connected for more updates.

Good Afternoon Backers and Friends,

I hope you all had a great weekend. The StreetSmart Brand Team has done some internal restructuring over the past couple weeks and have come to some final decisions this past weekend. We will be posting an update before the close of the week regarding the time line, as well as, the response we are waiting on from our two manufacturing options. They are getting back to us regarding the cost of the  leather as well as the hardware.The loss of time and progress we experienced in loosing our first manufacturer; that we had been communicating with for months, was an unexpected set back. Once again we apologize for not communicating this properly. The money is still available and in the StreetSmart Brand business account and we are offering refunds to anyone that desires. Please message me and I will personally ensure you are refunded.  The setbacks and trouble finding manufacturing for the hardware, as well as the leather, has proven to be a daunting task and on top of that we have to find someone to put the whole kit together. We hope that you still believe in this product and I will be introducing the man heading the operations in place of Samuel this week. I look forward to delivering you a device that not only equips us with a back up battery, every morning when you walk out the door, but the ability to help us remember our most prized possessions in this fast paced life of ours.

We have some exciting news and updates to share with you including our development progress, production and delivery timeline, and announcing our newest team member Andrew. We’re also very proud to announce that SmartWallet will be Made in America! Being able to manufacture and assemble SmartWallet in the U.S. took a lot of searching, but we were able to partner up with an amazing manufacturer.

We have just welcomed Andrew Lloyd to the StreetSmart Brand family! Andrew will be keeping our social media up to date, helping develop our brand, and answering backer questions. He will be working very closely with our team to make sure we hit our deadlines, ship SmartWallet quickly, and deliver an incredible wallet that will surpass your expectations.

Hey Backers,

Lots of huge changes have been made within the StreetSmart Brand organization. First and foremost, Samuel Pofcher has relinquished his position as CEO. Everything will continue to move forward as planned although, StreetSmart Brand will now be led by CEO Stephen Lamarre to develop and deliver SmartWallet to each and every backer as promised. We have been working diligently to develop the thinnest and most luxurious SmartWallet we can offer to date. We are more than excited to send out our first round of SmartWallets and cannot wait to see your response.
